Many Google applications are a select option for millions of users, and sometimes the reason is as simple as the number of improvements they receive compared to their competitors. When it comes to email reading, Gmail for Android is one of those developing applications every day.
However, Gmail has been idle for a long time without getting the big news. Fortunately, Google has started rolling out a new feature that will make it easier to access purchase receipts and flight tickets.
Gmail for Android continues to improve and offer collections with our orders
One of the distinguishing features between the web version and the Gmail mobile app is the use of info cards. Until recently, when you buy or receive a plane ticket confirmation, in the browser we can get a card that summarizes all the order details, a more accurate formatted and free card than an email.
The same is true for new cards (via: 9to5 Google).
This feature has started to be released in the Gmail app for Android. The card appears at the beginning of the email, informing us of all important aspects of the order, be it physical, digital or flight information.
If you don't want to pay attention to the card, place the button in the right corner of it where we can hide it. In the same way, if we press this button again, we can expand it again and look at the details again.
It is important to note that this card does not replace email, which will continue to be visible at all times. This card simply analyzes the email and gives us a summary, but it does not change the email at all.
Gmail's new functionality has begun to ship, so it's expected that if you don't have one yet, it will take a few hours to access your phone.
