Ubisoft, creator of the tactical shooter title Rainbox Six, has confirmed that it is working on a mobile versiona title that will have the same locations that can be found in the version for PC and consoles.
According to Ubisoft, the game was created from scratch taking into account the gameplay offered by mobile devices and will be optimized for a large number of smartphones and tablets. Like most titles of this type, Rainbox Six Mobile will hit the market in free-to-play mode.
The game will include voice chata marking system to inform the rest of the players without having to speak, jcross-play between iOS and Android devices and the maps will be the same as those available in the PC and console version in 5v5 combat. In addition, it will also include Safe Area and Bomb mode.
According to Justin Swan, creative director of this version of Rainbow Six for mobile:
Maps are more or less the same, destruction has been tweaked a bit, and other little things have been optimized.
It also states that some features have been removed which, due to the limitations of a touch interface, cannot be used in the same way as playing on a PC or console.
This release will also include a operator unlock progression system. After 3 years of development, Ubisoft allows users who wish to try the alpha version to register through the Ubisoft website.
