Razer has just announced new accessories, including the GaN-style USB-C power adapter. It is a charger that can charge up to four devices quickly and simultaneously. And the highlight is that it does it in a super compact size.
Razer Compact Multi Fast Charger
At first glance, it looks like we are dealing with a normal AC adapter. However, if we look at its spec table, we will see that it is quite compact
- 1 USB-C with up to 100W.
- 1 USB-C with up to 100W.
- 1 USB-A with up to 18W, shared with the other USB-A.
- 1 USB-A with up to 18W, shared with the other USB-A.
For a maximum of 130W in total. It is hard to believe that it is possible to achieve these charging powers in so many adapters. This is possible because it uses gallium nitride instead of silicon in its components
In addition, Razer also presented a center with up to ten ports called Thunderbolt 4 Dock Mercury. Includes SD reader, plug, Thunderbolt 4 upstream and downstream, ethernet and USB-A. It is capable of supporting two 4K displays or one 8K display, providing tremendous data transfer speeds. This technology is chargeable and has a price of 320 dollars.
