It is a relatively common thing that we have to forward an email. It is not a question of forwarding an e-mail to another recipient, but of resend the same email to the same recipient. Either to draw attention to an emergency or because the address of the first shipment was wrong. We’ll do that by hitting the referral option, right? There is a better option, let’s talk about it.
Referral is different from referral
Clearly too many times to resend an email we use the Forward button, but this has several drawbacks. The first is that the content of the original message increases the citation level and headers and a prefix are added to the subject of the message. In some cases, we just want to mark that this is a new message compared to the one that has already been sent, but that’s not always the case. When should we just copy the content of the message and paste it into a new one the option to use is Resend.
In our iPhone or iPad the use of this option is very simple. The exact steps are as follows:
- We open the app To post on our iPhone or iPad.
- We are looking for the email we want to resend.
- We touch the answer button at the bottom of the screen.
- We choose Resend.
- We press the send button.
In our Mac the steps differ only slightly and are as follows:
- We open the app To post on our Mac.
- We are looking for the email we want to resend.
- We click secondarily on the message.
- We choose Resend.
- We press the send button.
Easy no? During my training I realized that many times out of ignorance we end up taking a multitude of steps to resend an email when we have the exact button right in front of us. A button that will facilitate a very common process for those of us who manage a large amount of email.
