One of the most important Apple Premium Partners in USA is Rossellimac. And its fascinating history dates back to 2005. Juan Carlos Lopez Ruizits founder, discovered his passion for Apple when a musician friend showed him how to record with Logic without crashing the computer. At the time, he was still working in the jewelry business with his father.
This experience with Logic convinced him that this was the business he was looking to start. After several obstacles, his determination led him to open the first Rossellimac store in Granada on December 21, 2005.
Since then, its evolution has paralleled that of Apple, expanding with the launch of iconic products such as the iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and AirPods.
Juan Carlos and his brother Alexanderalso Executive Director (right and left respectively in the image shown), have participated in international launches such as the Apple Watch in Los Angeles and the Vision Pro in New York and Berlin, even taking two dozen employees on these last trips in recognition of the extra efforts made during the pandemic. Our director, Pedro Aznar, also accompanied them.
The relationship of an Apple Premium Partner with Apple is described by Juan Carlos as that of a father and son: “The son asks, and the father, if he deems it appropriate, gives it.” This is reflected in the design of the stores, where Apple demands an extreme level of detail. They have even demolished walls already made because the measurements were not completely accurate to within a few centimeters.
Business is not easy, especially with the tight margins in consumer electronics. However, passion for the brand drives them forward. It’s not a cliché: a conversation with them reveals a deep admiration and knowledge of Apple. They are not entrepreneurs around a brand, they are passionate about a brand who have developed their business from there.
Recently, Rossellimac acquired Macníficos, specialized in online and B2B sales of Apple products. Marc Alonso, of Macníficos, describes the integration as “a wonderful year” thanks to the efforts of all parties.
Looking to the future, Rossellimac continues to grow and plans to open a new store in Barcelona later this month. Despite challenges such as three decades of Apple Stores in USA and strong competition, they remain optimistic.
