The iPhone 2020 is emerging following rumors and other rumors that have surfaced in recent months. 5G will be one of the biggest changes to bring and the fact that more models are going on sale than ever before. However, don't forget other details like screen and how it affects composition or independence of the end. New rumors suggest that LG will be responsible for the project this year.
LG integrated LG panels
Asian media Elec comments on a new report that LG will be responsible for providing screenshots of this iPhone by 2020 thanks to its OLED Gen-6 panel. The main difference from previous generations: integrated touch screen. What is that touch screen? The screen circuit is usually inserted into an additional layer that attaches to the panel. On the integrated touch screen the circuit (ideally not required) is integrated into the OLED panel This way you save space and consequently make a smaller phone.
This change is very much expected on the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max downloads, currently offering an OLED panel. The change will save some space for either Apple to simply reduce it to reduce the final size of the phone or use its opportunity to replace the battery and make the phone work better. Given the trend of recent years … it's probably the last.
The report also states that Apple may use LTPO technology on iPhone 2020, this technology is what allows the Apple Watch to stay screen always showing time and driving issues. Having it on the iPhone will be the next logical step, albeit a little easier to make LTPO panels for the iPhone than the Apple Watch.
Here are many things that raise doubts and the first of them all is the production capacity that LG may or may not have. So far only Samsung Display has been able to meet Apple's huge demand year after year. Everything for LG and its OLED Gen-6 screen? I doubt very much.
