Some of Samsung’s high-end phones from the last few years are, each depending on their compatibility, getting new camera features as part of an update. The new features are already in the Galaxy S22, and they are as follows:
- Portrait in night mode: Galaxy S21, S20, Note20, Z Fold 2, Z Fold 3, Z Flip 5G, and Z Flip 3.
- Animal recognition: Galaxy S21, S21 FE, S20 FE, Note 20, Z Fold 2, Z Fold 3, Z Flip 5G and Z Flip 3.
- Changing the position of the light: Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 FE, Galaxy S20 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 5G, Galaxy Z Flip 3.
- Video portrait with telephoto lens: Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 3.
- Director Mode improvements: Galaxy S21, Galaxy Z Flip 3, Galaxy Z Fold 3.
- Integration with Snapchat: Galaxy S21
These new features are already coming to some phones such as the Galaxy S21 in South Korea and some European countries, as reported on XDA, thanks to an update whose build number is G99xBXXU5CVDD.
With this, Samsung extends the life of these mobiles a little more, which after all belong to the top of the range of the past years, and they are surely not far behind in terms of performance or photography.
