Samsung Galaxy A71 Review: balanced and judgmental

So far this year I have had the opportunity to try out many Samsung models. It's been a different experience since while in 2019 I tried some, it's not something I had a special relationship with.

Besides, I liked their suggestions together, though some models over others. For example, the last one I've reviewed has been your best application, the S20 Ultra, and I think it fails on things that shouldn't cost that much.

Before that I tried the Galaxy A51, a very modest model, but for a better price. Of course, energy wasn't enough, at least for my own use.

And it seems that in between there was beauty. After a few days with him Samsung Galaxy A71 I'd say it's one of Samsung's most unparalleled phones. It's not perfect and has some flaws, but I must admit I was surprised. That's fine

It's pretty and almost light

The Samsung Galaxy A71 is one of the best examples of the line of excellence and design followed by Samsung in 2020.

Good performance, though possible

Samsung has released a variant of the Galaxy A71. We have been using the simplest of them, which is 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. We can't say that we run out of memory space as we have 40 GB of total storage space.

What we have noticed is that RAM, with no shortage, suggests that it does not mount on other models such as the Glass S10 Lite.

I noticed this especially when playing Honkai Impact Third, a very demanding game that worked pretty well, but that as long as you could sit in the back often closed, because the system required RAM for other applications.

Mobile performance is good, without slowing down like other OnePlus models or realme. Connectivity is a pretty big deal with Wifi 5 and Bluetooth 5 too NFC and FM radio are not lost.

Normal screen, quality, but normal

In addition, I usually scan one of the thumbs twice when analyzing the terminal with the fingerprint sensor on the screen and the One UI only allows it to be done with three fingers, so I always find that it is more accurate with one hand than the other.

As I dipped the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra cameras I was scared to get on this A71 and realized that the quality of the gun was not enough. What was not surprising to see was that it wasn't that, but, generally, I liked the photos made by this model over the company's identity.

Eye, I'm not saying the A71 makes better pictures, but as long as it's shooting, the results are balanced.

He wide range It has 12 Mpx and in this case I have something to criticize. The colors solve them well, but the perimeter variations are more noticeable than in the other models.

Sensor macro I really liked it. When I first started taking pictures with him I thought I was using a wide angle integrated system, as the realme X50 Pro 5G did, but it wasn't. The special sensor provides good quality, even if it doesn't have a great solution.

Of course, we have no telephoto and it shows Zoom is digital. We tested and increased it to 2 is effective, but otherwise we begin to lose detail. It's unclear why Samsung has not added direct access to the two-zoom zoom, it is passable, and offers an 8-zoom zoom option, since it is a very usable device.

At night the quality of the images falls far beyond the high range. It is here that we see that more expensive models come in handy. For example, on the days of lights the halo is visible, and there is no long way to be exposed at night as on the S20 or on models of other types.

But the video we can record it in 4K, though it's normal that if we want better resolution we do it at 1080p. A level with a good light is good. In addition, we can record with a wide angle, and get some really interesting shots, as you can see in the gallery. Of course, at night the zoom is thunderous, and it will always be worth recording without moving.

The front camera, 32 Mpx, is also surprisingly good. We have a good range of flexibility, suitable colors and acceptable details, thanks to its solution. Even the video is well organized and the fact that it is a very effective camera. Even blurring through the lens would be perfectly acceptable.

The battery is compatible, as it should be

For this model Samsung used a 4500 mAh battery, with a fast charger of 25 W. We would have liked a bigger charging speed but we understand that it's reserved for more expensive models.

In the tests we have done we have had them about 5 hours of screen time, or less depending on usage, about 24 hours of battery life. Also, we've been listening to some music streaming, and that plays out of power or not shown in the statistics.

What yes What I remembered is wireless charging. Samsung continues to leave that Note with the Galaxy S in a larger range, and we believe that almost all phones already have NFC, this should be the norm for institutions with prices higher than 300 euros, as it were.

Samsung Galaxy A71 is a goal-oriented cell phone

I was able to analyze this phone shortly after I expected it. Not too much, just a few weeks. Well, that time helped me put it right not only on the A51, but also on the S20.

Today I get the impression that the Samsung Galaxy A71 is a balanced phone for the company, possibly compatible with the Galaxy S10 Lite, which loses some comparisons but also costs more.

It's a model recommended for the user who wants a high-end cell phone that doesn't ask for a high price, without having to spend a fortune and with a good camera, screen and battery.
