The wearable component is one of the fastest growing years. In this market segment we find devices such as smart watches, work rings or other devices such as wireless headphones. 2019 sales figures have been making us wait, but in the end it has come, with details leaving us with a few, but important changes.
For a long time, this segment is a battle between Apple and Xiaomi, which is often at odds with leadership. Apple has also been the biggest seller in the sector, according to IDC data, but we particularly highlight the growth that Samsung has made over the past year.
New realme Band: Xiaomi's rivals, albeit cheap
The realme band was officially launched. The first threat of product type work, which helps to compete with the Xiaomi Mi Smart Band.
Apple is leading, but Samsung is growing fast
As usual in this section, Apple is always in first place. This kind of crown is being sold as a top seller, thanks to Apple Watch and AirPods, the most popular wireless headphones in the market, which have encouraged dozens of Android products to launch their own over time. The brand gains a market share of 31.7%, leaving its rivals far behind.
Xiaomi occupies second place, as is common in these cases. The Chinese product has been left with a market share of 12.4%, which is a long way from Apple, and has lost market share. The third position in the market is for Samsung
In fact it is Samsung's most grown-up brand throughout the past year. The firm has seen its growth rate be 153.3% between 2018 and 2019. Huawei has been the second-largest model, in fact already having the fourth position in the market, making Fitbit the fifth-best position.
Generally, all products have grown in sales in the wearable segment, though none of them appear to be close to being available to Apple in this segment. Something exciting we will see if Samsung continues to maintain this growth rate and they manage to snatch a second position on Xiaomi in some way.
