Over the past few weeks, news about the Note family with Samsung’s foldable phones has been common. The ancient phablet has, it seems, its destination marked in black for be engulfed by cellphones with flexible screen. And it makes sense if we pay attention to the information that echoes in The Elec.
The media claim that Samsung is not preparing two phones with a foldable screen. Looking ahead to the year 2021 which we are about to publish, Samsung plans to launch the Galaxy Z Flip 2 and Galaxy Z Fold 3
Flexible, yes, but more affordable
On the first two, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Galaxy Z Flip 2, the launch cannot be considered as a surprise, since it follows the logical pace to renew the range. In this equation what stands out is the Galaxy Z Fold Lite.
This terminal would apparently be launched in the next quarter, perhaps after the announcement of the new Galaxy S21 and as its name suggests, it would be a budget version of the Galaxy Fold
This Galaxy Fold Lite would be a model with a 7-inch screen on your internal and main screen, with a 4-inch outer screen. A model whose launch is scheduled for March 2021.
For their part, the other two models, would have a scheduled departure date for September, coinciding with that which would be intended for a hypothetical note. In this case, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 would have a 7-inch 120Hz LTPO-style internal display, with S Pen stylus support and a 4-inch external display.
For its part, the Galaxy Z Flip 2 would use a 6.7-inch internal screen and a 3 inch external, much larger than the current Galaxy Flip.
Not a word on the rest of the specs, but it’s no surprise that we’re up against a Snapdragon 888 processor with built-in 5G connectivity and the common photo and battery enhancements at each annual jump.
