IPhone and tablet

The AirDrop project was launched in 2013 along with iOS 7 and a major redesign of the user interface. Since then, it allows iPhone and iPad users share files via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth faster than other processes.

Now, there are rumors that Samsung is preparing to launch a very similar service. According to XDA developers, it will be called "Share Quick" and will provide the opportunity to allow file transfer between two nearby Galaxy phones.

Samsung's operation will work in the same way as AirDrop does. Both mobile phones will require "Quick Share" to be enabled to enable file transfer.

When will the fastest share arrive on Android

As with AirDrop functionality on iOS and iPadOS, Galaxy phone users will have options File acceptance limits and select who can send the files (Contacts only or All). When a user selects the "All" option, it is unknown whether the service will present unsolicited files in the same way as AirDrop.

In addition to being the same two functions, Share Share is expected to have an interesting difference with AirDrop. For example, according to rumors, we believe Quick Share will have a temporary cloud component that will give users the ability to transfer files to compatible home automation devices SmartThings.

Samsung's latest feature may be accompanied by the official launch of the Galaxy S20. The phone is slated to be installed on February 11. However, the file sharing feature will also be available on some older Galaxy models.

What do you think of Samsung's fast-paced feature of Samsung?
