On the day of the Apple Developer Conference, the big G didn’t want to miss the party so launches its ‘Feature Drop’ for the month of June for Google Pixel; with a few already released in recent months. Among these novelties, we can count on the one that turns everyday sounds into music or a great novelty for the widget At a glance or at a glance.

What’s new for the Google Pixel for the month of June

First we have one new app which transforms everyday sounds into music, and which was designed in collaboration with Teenage Engineering, a company specializing in design and audio.

But there is more, via Android Police, in this Pixel ‘Feature Drop’, since there are novelties for the conversation mode, the access to the digital vaccination record

This new application called Pocket operatorswhich should be available on the Play Store in a few hours (only for Pixel 5 and the latest models), is able to convert a video recorded on the camera into a composition of video clips and music to take it on the networks social.

Este ‘Feature Drop’ de los Google Pixel trae bastantes novedades y ahora, en el caso de que tengamos guardada la tarjeta digital en el teléfono, se pueden añadir accesos directos para tenerla a mano en el momento que se necesite.

La forma en que funciona es curiosa al hacer una captura de pantalla de la misma para que el Pixel la reconozca y nos indique si queremos añadir un acceso directo al escritorio.

On the other hand, we have conversational mode that gets something new. And it is that this mode is present in the Sound Amplifier application for Pixel 3 and recent models, as well as a reduction in background noise and a finer and more precise sound.

In general terms, what this mode does is that the camera is pointed at a person who is talking so that with machine learning or machine language reduces background noise and thus the speaker’s voice is improved. In fact, this option can be used in Google Meet to reduce surrounding noise.

And finally, the widget

El widget de un vistazo o At a Glance, recoge una novedad relacionada con el Nest Doorbell, para que cuando alguien llame a nuestra puerta, el feed del vídeo aparezca en el widget desde justamente la pantalla de bloqueo, ¿no puede ser más cómoda y acertada esta función?

Es decir, que en vez tener que pulsar la notificación del Nest Doorbell y ver qué ocurre a través de la app, se tiene directamente desde la pantalla de bloqueo. 

Finalmente, nos quedamos con tres wallpapers relacionados con el Mes del Orgullo y un recordatorio para desactivar la luz del flash si se dejó encendida. 

Ahora bien, todos los Pixel que reciben estas novedades son los Pixel 4, Pixel 4 XL, Pixel 4a, Pixel 4a 5G, Pixel 5, Pixel 5a, Pixel 6 y Pixel 6 Pro. Si tienes alguno, ya puedes ir probando esas novedades en el ‘Feature Drop’ de junio.
