Feral Interactive’s popular game is coming to the App Store in April and you can pre-order it now!
A new entertainment option joins the new releases that debuted on the App Store in 2023. This week, developer Feral Interactive confirmed the debut of Sid Meier’s Railroads on mobile devices, in both the App Store and the Google Store, on April 5. And you can book it now.
For those unfamiliar with the 2006 hit, Sid Meier’s Railroads is a business simulation game where players build industries, railroads, and stations. The game has a single player mode.the mobile version will therefore not include the multiplayer of the PC version.
A first in its own right
Feral Interactive has redesigned the interface and controls for Sid Meier’s Railroads to be touchscreen compatible. The preview trailer shows clear examples of the new interface.
To go through this adventure, 16 challenging fictional and historical scenarios have been offered, each with a unique map and objectives. For example, players can establish the first passenger line in 1830s Britain, connect the American West during the Gold Rush, or help Santa Claus with the Christmas rush at the North Pole.
As mobile gamers get their hands on this game, discover all the features of the classic PCallowing you to build and manage your railroad network while competing with other railroad barons to become the most profitable and powerful of them all.
Feral Interactive has an excellent track record in porting games to mobile devices, as evidenced by their proposal for Total War: Medieval 2, although this game is best played on tablets due to its nature. Feral Interactive is sure to make a similar effort with Sid Meier’s Railroads.
The title will be available on iPhone 6S and later, any iPhone SE, and the 2019 iPod touch. For iPad, it is compatible with 2019 models for iPad mini and iPad Air and later, iPad 2017 and later and all iPad Pro. It will be priced at 12.99 dollars.
