Today Amazon has updated the basic model for its range of tablets, i Amazon Fire HD 8, with more memory, more power, better communication and a cheaper, better price.

More memory and more power
As expected, the 2020 model exceeds last year. We currently have two models, both with 2 GB of RAM but one with 32 GB of memory and the other with 64 GB.
The screen measures 8 inches and uses the same resolution, 1200 x 800 px.
The battery has been upgraded, though no amperage has been published. But the good thing at this stage is that, in the end, USB-C opts instead of microUSB.
We now have the front camera, 2 Mpx, and the other back with the same resolution. Plus, Android comes naturally and, as you know, does not have Google services and apps.
It has the Amazon AppStore, a store where we have apps like Netflix, Spotify, Facebook or Instagram.
In the United States there is a Plus version with 3 GB of RAM and wireless charging, but is currently not available in Spain.
Price and availability
Fire HD 8 will be upgraded June 3 in four ways, depending on whether you have a special offer or not and depending on your internal memory.
