Realme is celebrating, and it has good reasons to do so: it has just revealed its next flagship producta Realme GT 7 Pro which already has a presentation date. It will debut with the recently presented Snapdragon 8 Elite, the beast from Qualcomm that intends to do battle with the Apple A18 Pro.
And this does not come alone, Realme took advantage of its keynote to publicize Realme UI 6.0updating its personalization layer loaded with AI functions. Everyone is getting their act together in 2024 when it comes to mobile AI, and now more than ever, Realme has the power to tame it.
Realme GT 7 Pro with Snapdragon 8 Elite. It’s on the way
We are adding a new mobile phone with the latest Qualcomm chip: the Snapdragon 8 Elite is breaking power records and Realme knows it, which is why its imminent Realme GT 7 Pro comes with this processor at its heart. We already know the release date: we’re aiming for the next one November 4 on our calendar.
This will be when we know in detail the next flagship smartphone from Realme, which, in addition to the aforementioned SoC, will increase performance compared to what has been seen in the past with models such as the Realme GT 6 and Realme GT 6 T. Yes, we were able to see its design, continuous but with a notable change in the camera module.
Now it is square and combines all the photographic sensors of the terminal, and the color of the unit shown in the images is no less striking. Realme took the opportunity to highlight the new features that came with the “GT” series, which is why improvements are planned in several sections.
To begin with, and leaving aside the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite, AI becomes the protagonist of Realme’s Android versionLet’s see what it will offer soon as soon as it updates the smartphones in its catalog.
Realme UI 6.0 is completely renewed with AI
Although Realme presented its Realme GT 7 Pro live, the protagonist of the event was none other than Realme UI, the Chinese manufacturer’s customization layer for its Android phones. Version 6.0 is in the oven, about to be released, and wants to get its hands on Samsung’s Galaxy AI with a string of functions based on Generative AI.
Realme told us about its efforts when it comes to adding AI tools to its phones, and it seems like it hit the right note by including them in different apps. These are the most remarkable of Next AIthe name given to this software suite:
- AI Sketch in pictures: with a simple scribble, the AI generates a drawing with very good results. We have seen it in other layers, with the difference that in Realme UI 6.0 we can trace it on photos, embedding it on the image.
- AI Motion Blur: uses AI to remove blurry images and give them greater sharpness.
- Zoom AI Ultra: It doesn’t matter whether we use digital zoom, nor the absence of a telephoto lens, this AI is dedicated to improving the details of photos enlarged with this method.
- Super resolution AI gaming: focused on running video games, it seems similar to other solutions that we have seen on consoles and compatibles. It manages to increase the resolution of titles thanks to AI without noticeable impact on performance.
- Super AI gaming framework: able to generate more frames per second thanks to AI, the hardware will suffer less.
- AI text to video: for the moment it will not be available, it will be in the future, and it will allow you to generate videos via guest textual. A sort of Sora, but integrated into the mobile.
As we mentioned previously, the Realme GT 7 Pro that inaugurates the new version will be presented in less than two weeks, while this one, Realme UI 6.0, will soon begin to be rolled out: by the end of the year they will update the most recent while in the next six months other previous models such as the Realme 12 5G family or the Realme GT3 will do so.
