Now Google wants to emphasize this meaning with the ‘flairs’, a specific decoration for events which are programmed based on the words or phrases used in its description. Which means that if “cinema” or “cafe” is used to name the event, an image associated with it will appear.
In version 2024.38.0-677549254 of Google Calendar for Android, a complete series of ‘flairs’ for all types of events and even some updates for those during the month. It will also introduce new “styles” for daily events and they can be seen in the screenshots shared from these lines.
Better yet, a user created a repository on Github that shows all the keywords that will convert to a specific flair at the event. And in fact, they are also available in Spanish from this other link; Phrases such as “prepare lunch”, “prepare dinner”, or “prepare lunch” are available and activate a related style.
There are a wide variety of them and they will from “prepare dinner” or “Christmas dinner” to “football”, “clean the house” or “dentist”. This personalizes the event and makes Google Calendar more attractive every time it is opened from the widget or app on the mobile.
