Although Apple Maps comes standard for iOS devices and has been updating after update, Google Maps is still one of the most popular ways to navigate and map in the App Store. The Internet search service has continued to add new functions for each new version, one of them as incognito mode.
In a word that reminds us of the work that is available in most web browsers in the marketplace, such as Chrome, when starting an incognito session we prevent the application from tracking certain information to our Google account, as a trip, so we don't see personalized recommendations within Google Maps. First it came to Android, now to iOS.
How to use incognito mode in Google Maps for iOS
Enabling a private session on Google Maps is very easy. Just click on our profile picture within the app to quickly click an option that allows us to use or activate it. Letting it work, as we have said, will not record our movements when we use the app to guide us to a certain extent (such as a restaurant).
Though it arrived on Android earlier this year, it's not until now that Google, through a blog post, has confirmed that it will be coming to iOS. Of course, it's not yet available, though will be used within the next few days.
