AirPods Max, as we can deduce from their name, inherits much of the technology that makes AirPods and AirPods Pro one of the best headphones that we can use with our iPhone or iPad. One of its features is the automatic head detection which, among other things, automatically pauses playback when we remove the headphones
Enable or disable head detection
Head detection takes care of automatically connecting AirPods Max to our devices as soon as we turn them on and also pauses content playback when we remove them or move them slightly away from our heads. If we wish, we can disable this behavior. The steps are as follows:
- We open the Settings app on our iPhone or iPad.
- We entered Bluetooth.
- We played the I to the right of AirPods Max [nombre].
- We activate or deactivate Head detection.
It’s simple. With this setting disabled AirPods Max will no longer pause playback when we remove them. Instead, we have to press the pause button.
True, most of the time we want to take advantage of the automatic pause related to the detection of the head of AirPods Max, but, at the same time, if it turns out that we need to turn it off at some point depending on the use that we give to our headphones, it is thank you Apple for giving us this option.
