After several months of rumors, Apple introduced the 3rd generation AirPods at the latest event, an event where the new and much anticipated MacBook Pro line with the new M1 Max and M1 Pro processors also saw the light of day.
Apple’s new generation of Airpods 3 arrives with a design inspired by AirPods Pro and share some of its features like Spatial Audio and Adaptive EQ. These are some of the similarities they share, already on the inside with quite different things as the guys at 52audio show us in the last video they posted to the internet.
52audio is a YouTube channel specializing in headphones and as soon as they had this new generation on hand, they were completely dismantled so that they could know their components.
The first thing that stands out is that, like their predecessors, disassembling them is not an easy or quick task, because most parts are glued, which means they cannot be fixed.
Inside the AirPods 3 charging case, there is a set of magnets used to connect the case to the MagSafe charger, this model being the first to integrate it.
The case incorporates a graphic heating pad to prevent the device from heating up during charging. In addition, there is also the Lightning connector, a 345 mAh battery, (AirPods Pro have two independent batteries) and the card that manages the headphones.
Each of the headphones itself has new skin detection sensor, a sensor that should not be deceived when it comes into contact with other surfaces, a novelty in the AirPods range.
All the components found inside the AirPods are linked via an FPC cable which incorporates a 0.133 Wh battery, a microphone and a speaker.
