The Spanish government is changing the law to make it harder to receive unsolicited commercial calls, but that doesn’t guarantee the problem will go away. In fact, there is an easier and more difficult way to avoid receiving SPAM, which is to send messages.
The good news is that these messages can be reported through a system that Apple has built into its devices. It doesn’t close the circle it should close, but we’ll explain what happens when you report a text or iMessage.
If he is not in the contact list, you can report
To report a message that comes to you via SMS or iMessage, simply click “Spam Message” below the message you received. This option only appears when you receive messages from numbers that are not in your contact list.
Apple will ask you to confirm that you want to notify the company of this number, which you can do by clicking “Remove and Report”
What happens when you do this? It depends. If you received the message via iMessage (with the blue balloon color), Apple collects the sender’s data and processes it to classify it as SPAM if it sees fit. But if you received a traditional SMS or MMS message, then this complaint becomes completely operator dependent that you have contracted Therefore, if you are interested in knowing what happened to your complaint, you will have to contact her to find out.
If, on the other hand, you want to report messages that arrive from WhatsApp, Telegram or any other third-party messaging service, you will have to use their own protocols to report SPAM and/or block problematic contacts. And if what you need to block is a lot of SPAM, keep in mind that adding your number to the Robinson list can help.
