Each teacher has their booklet and each operating system has their tips for users to get the most out of mobile. Xiaomi knows a lot about this because MIUI is a layer with many adjustments that we can make both to improve the operation of the mobile and to get the most out of it. And this is something that is maintained in MIUI 14.
Now there is something that is not secret or hidden, and that is the ability to use Xiaomi’s browser to download videos from Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and even WhatsApp statuses. It’s very simple and we’ll tell you how you can do it with any Android mobile.
The trick for the Xiaomi browser: its video downloader
If you have or buy a Xiaomi, it will come with the Mi Browser pre-installed. It’s a fast and light browser, but you’ll surely end up changing it to Chrome -which is also installed and has a series of tricks on Android- or to Microsoft Edge.
However, We recommend that you do not remove this Xiaomi browser. In addition, we invite you to download it on your Android mobile even if it is not from the company if you are looking to download videos. Here is the link to the Play Store.
Many times we browse Instagram or Twitter and we see a video that is funny, cool or that we want to save for some reason, either to have it in our gallery or to send it to a contact via Telegram or WhatsApp.
The reason doesn’t matter, but we often go to external apps or pages when the simplest thing is open the link in the Xiaomi browser and click on the download arrow.
And that’s it, it’s as simple as that. You are browsing, the browser recognizes a video and, if it is downloadable, the arrow icon appears. you press, you say where you want to save the video and that’s it, you already have it.
If the arrow does not appear, you have the option to copy the video link and access the browser download tool itself. You just click on your profile icon, find the option to download videos, copy the link and that’s it.
¡Ojo! You may get an error, but if so, nothing happens. The browser automatically takes you to the message that contains the video you’re trying to download and, yes, the little arrow appears there to do that.
It’s that simple and can’t you see how my collection of cat messing around videos has grown.
