Announced a few weeks ago, Sonos’ new speakers (Era 100 and 300) are now available for direct purchase. Additionally, Sonos has been updated so that your speakers are compatible with Apple Music Spatial Audio.
The new Sonos Era 100 and Era 300 are now available, at the official price of $279 for the first and $499 for the second. More sustainable manufacturing, improvements in sound quality, greater connectivity and new designs, maintaining the modularity that characterizes the brand so much. Your new speakers can be combined with each other (same model) to make stereo pairs and maximize the sound
The Era 100 speaker is the successor to the Sonos One, with which it has many design similarities, but has been renewed inside, with two tweeters that point left and right to achieve a more enveloping stereo sound even using a single Era 100 speaker and a larger midrange driver for better bass. The Era 300 speaker is totally new and the sound quality promises to surprise anyone who tries it. It’s also perfect for pairing with a Sonos home theater system thanks to the fact that it has upward-firing speakers for true Dolby Atmos. The two loudspeakers, Era 100 and 300, add bluetooth connectivity
On top of all that, Sonos has released a software update that lets you enjoy Apple Music Spatial Sound on your speakers. To take advantage of this new feature you will need a Sonos Era 300, Beam 2 Gen2 or Sonos Arcthe only speakers compatible with this feature, and update them to the latest version available.
