Apple-style Sony Bravia
As has happened before, this is not just another option on the market, but a particularly attractive option for Apple users. Using software with a content redirection interface, it is compatible with the Apple TV app, AirPlay 2 and HomeKit-enabled smart homes.
Sony hasn’t shared pricing and availability for the TVs yet, but they can offer competitive pricing to Apple TV models, which could be great given that Apple’s next model update is expected in 2024.
So far, the available information regarding the next generation of Apple TV indicates that Apple will introduce an Apple TV with a high-performance processor. Even if in theory the design will be identical to the design of the Apple TV 4K presented in October 2022, it would stand out because the implementation of a more powerful chip implies the arrival of much more new software in tvOS.
While the latest Apple TV model integrates an A15 Bionic chip (iPhone 13) and the previous model (2021) had an A12 chip. while the iPhone 14 flagships have an A16 Bionic processor.
