More … than 25 million players In 110 countries, paddle tennis has established itself as the fastest growing sport in the world. Statistics reveal that there are around 40,000 padel courts in the world. Furthermore, the padel market is estimated at 327 million US dollars.
The convergence between sport and technology has reached new heights in padel, and artificial intelligence (AI) has become the driving force for significant changes in the field. Thanks to innovative developments, such as those promoted by Aiball
The World Padel Tour (WPT), the elite padel circuit, through Ariana Sánchez Fallada (world number one), has experienced a new dimension with the implementation of Aiball technology. This AI system uses high-precision cameras to track every movement on the track, simultaneously providing analysis and strategic advice. Players can now access detailed data on their performance, from ball speed to field position, allowing them to hone their skills both in competition and in training.

Aiball has established its presence in more than 40 clubs in Europe like Indoor 7 Santpedor or the PadelSur club, since its creation in 2020. With more than 2,500 users, Aiball has a waiting list that covers more than 50 clubs, some located in countries like United States and Italy
This advancement not only identifies players and balls, but also provides players personalized recommendations, assesses strengths and weaknesses, provides detailed performance statistics and creates video summaries of highlights. THE algorithms by Aiball, which combine advanced deep learning techniques and Bayesian models, were trained with over 200 hours of recording and over 500,000 labeled images, achieving a precision 95% in identifying balls and players.
At the same time, it is developing Padme an application backed by artificial intelligence which aims to revolutionize the amateur padel. For the moment he is in his beta, but as CEO Iñigo Redondo confirmed “there is nothing left for its final launch”. This platform will use cameras installed on courts to record and analyze every aspect of the game.
