StatusByddy is a new app that allows us to easily check the status of most services offered by Apple. If any of these services have a break, the app immediately shows you their icon and gives us information about the situation.
Apple Resources in our menu bar
The app includes all of the services offered by Apple, from developers themselves to something more specific like App Store Connect or TestFlight through regular use Apple TV +, Apple Music or iCloud
The developer, Guilherme Rambo describes the app with the following conditions:
StatusBuddy is a simple app that displays an icon on your Mac's menu bar. When Apple's service is broken, the icon shows a red badge and you can click on it to see what happens. The app will show incident reports that Apple is linking to its official status page for developers and consumers, so it also includes developer services such as App Store Connect and TestFlight as well as consumer services such as Apple Music and TV +.
Same detail, different presentation
The application, which the developer published how it was made open source, it pulls information from the official website of the Apple app and shows it in a visual way, and offers a few extra points.
Among other things the app offers us is the ability to search any app to see if you have had any recent errors or receive real-time alerts
This is the second function that Rambo offers to us for free through the app because about a year ago we introduced AirBuddy, a tool for connecting our AirPods easily to a Mac.
Air buddy is available in the github archives service and we can download free by gumroad, though donations are accepted.
