Many users use smart phones, almost all of them in countries like Europe. Some opt for the iPhone and others for Android, with one of the many manufacturers that we have in our country. But every now and then an iPhone user wants to make the jump to Android (even though WhatsApp makes it difficult), to save money on their next mobile, to have more customization options, or to have a system with more functions.
The problem is that switching from one ecosystem to another is not easy, as Apple and Google use different ways to store information such as photos, contacts, etc. This is why Google has developed an application for iOS which allows the migration of a large amount of information.
Here is the new Switch to Android app
This application, called Switch to Android, is available on the iPhone App Store, and it is obviously free. It must be installed on the mobile that we have from Apple, and it will be able to extract a lot of information and send it to the new Android device. Concretely, we can move:
- Schedule.
- contacts.
- Pictures.
- Videos.
Unfortunately, it’s not possible to push apps with your credentials, due to Apple’s own restrictions.
Si os interesa podéis abrir la aplicación desde vuestro iPhone en este enlace, o buscando el nombre de la aplicación en la App Store.
