Nokia presents Pure UI, a brand new interface
Nokia has just shown all the details of its new mobile interface, which it has dubbed Pure UI. An all-new with a provocative design language, leaving all its hallmarks behind to focus on minimalist elements that are simple to understand and add up to be a whole new experience.
A new situation for Nokia to make a qualitative leap in all the new mobiles that it presents on the market, as well as the different products that it has in its catalog. This is the central idea of move away from custom layers that we see in the various manufacturers that launch Android mobile phones.
A new interface called Pure UI that stands out for using a key color, blue, so that it serves to navigate through the main element in the different screens that the brand has presented and thus show what is his idea for a diaper renewed and quite different from what has been seen so far on Android.
That is to say, it is very far from Samsung’s One UI or Xiaomi’s MIUI itself to soak up your own stamp to Pure UI. Nokia has changed the navigation panels, icons, font, color range and its own design so that it is characterized by its clarity, ease of understanding and great intuitiveness. It also renewed its logo.
We’ll really have to see when Pure UI hits one of its mobiles how this layer moves around, but at first it looks great and we already want to try it out.
Nokia will take 4G to the Moon and very soon
Nokia, through Android Authority, plans to launch 4G services on the Moon this year, according to CNBC. The service will be used by the Mission Artemis 1 NASA, which clearly intends to establish humans on the satellite for the first time since the Apollo 17 mission in 1972.
You should know that we are dealing with the Finnish telecommunications group, which differs from HDM Global in charge of manufacturing telephones under its own brand, and which wants to set up a 4G network on the Moon in the coming months with the launch of a spacex rocket
Nokia’s idea is to set up a base station equipped with an antenna on the Nova-C lander and a solar rover which will supply the network.
According to Nokia, the technology is designed to withstand extreme conditions in the space. Its objective is also to bring the networks used here to provide a solution to the communication needs of future space missions.
This 4G network will be used for astronauts can communicate between them and mission control will use the same on the Moon. Indeed, they will be able to make real-time video, control rovers and much more thanks to the use of Nokia’s 4G network.
Everything comes from NASA selected Nokia to build the first mobile network as early as 2020. The roadmap was designed to make a first deployment at the end of 2022.
