Nowadays, you can do without your wallet because you no longer need it. But you might not even need to carry your phone, because your Samsung Galaxy Watch is a perfect way to make payments. It’s the same as using a card or smartphone, providing the same security, but from your wrist.
It is highly recommended to be aware of this payment method, as you might forget your wallet at home or in the car and have to pay for something you just bought. While wearing your Galaxy Watch, you won’t have any problems.
Set the clock to pay
The way to configure it is very simple, but before doing so, I owe you a clarification. Although the Samsung Pay app may appear on some of the older Galaxy Watch models, on current models we have Galaxy Wallet. Both are used in the same way.
From here, what you need to do is:
- Press and hold he back button to open Samsung Wallet.
- Click the arrow on the right.
- Press Settings to continue.
- You will now set the clock lock type, choosing between Pattern or PIN.
- On your phone you need to tap Continue ensuring that the associated Samsung ID is yours.
- You will now see a summary of what you have configured in Samsung Wallet.
- Access cards, coupons or wherever you want, activating the ones you have configured. In the case that concerns us today, enter cards to be able to pay.
- He will ask you for security reasons (on the cards) expiry date and the code HVAC of each.
- Accept your bank’s conditions by giving Accept.
- You will now see that the card(s) are added. Just click Do.
- Going back to the clock (continuously pressing the back button) you will see that the The card(s) are already there for you to select.
How to pay with your watch
Since you already have everything set up, all you need to know is how to use the watch to pay.
- Press and hold so the back buttonthen enter your PIN or pattern.
- Select the card you want to use swipe right or left and click on the desired one.
