Telegram will let you hide spoilers from the rest of a chat’s participants

This new functionality is due to the fact that Telegram is an application that offers groups up to 200,000 people, so you can understand the need for a feature like this to hide a spoiler from the rest of the participants.

Hide a spoil before posting it on Telegram

From the Telegram reddit community, via Android Police, we saw how this new Telegram feature would work so that it could be hide content of a cat that had been abandoned in a group in this app owned by Durov.

In this video, you can perfectly see how this feature works to hide a spoiler. Simply, when we have typed the text in the message before sending it, we select the spoiler content and, among the functions displayed, we choose “spoiler”.

As we send this message to the group we are in, we will see how it is hidden with a pixelated shading which clearly shows that we would be faced w ith vital information related to a book, TV series or even a movie.

Of course, we will always have the opportunity to see it by clicking on this message in order to know the spoiler in situ. One point to keep in mind about this new feature is that, if we don’t know what it is for, it may crash at first when we see this shading with so many pixels covering some text.
