Telegram won’t always be free, and it already gives hints about Telegram Premium

Telegram is preparing big changes for its application, and one of them could be that of add payment options for the very first time of the instant messaging platform.

There have been previous rumors that suggested this possibility. and now the company is considering dropping “free forever” from its tagline to honor the app’s new reality.

At the moment there is no official announcement from the company owned by Pavel Durov, but news should arrive soon.

Telegram already works on Telegram Premium

The instant messaging application has always been characterized by being free, and it said in some sections of its settings, where it said it was forever. Something that no longer appears for many users.

These benefits would be some like to unlock premium stickers, have additional reactions and even have a star as a badge, which would indicate that you are a user of this type of subscription both next to your name in conversations and on the chat screen.

For now it is not known when Telegram Premium will be launched, but it looks like it won’t take long as these types of details start to leak, which normally indicates that the launch isn’t too far away.

Other information suggests that free users might see ads in some parts of the app, so we’ll have to wait to finally see what happens with that.
