Tricks to Know the Apple Watch
- Ask Siri to read the time: Simple tip, if you press with two fingers on the clock face and hold for a few minutes … Siri tells you what time it is. Of course, the Apple Watch should not be in silent mode, not interrupt mode or cinema mode.
- Press App Closure: Sometimes you may have an Apple Watch app, where the best thing you can do is force the app to close. To do this, open the app you want to shut down, press the sidebar for a few seconds until the popup menu appears and press and hold the digital crown until you see the pictures closing the application you want. As always, it is good to remember that you do not have to close applications to use a small battery or that the clock is running fast, it is not practical.
- Turn Apple Watch into night clock: From the Watch app on the iPhone we can set the clock to always show the time in a green tone and without too much light while the clock is charging. To do this, go to Watch> General> Bedide mode. If we run this option and load the clock by setting it straight and on the other hand time will always be displayed. It's great when charging a night watch but not so much if you use a watch to monitor your sleep.
- See time in less light: If you don't want to interrupt the clock light, one thing you can do is look at the clock to turn the digital crown on a bit. Making this screen turn on is a little light and enough to see the time.
-
Control the control center until it reaches the top: The Apple Watch control center is activated by sliding from the bottom of the screen to the beat. If we want to recommend it to any menu or app we can do it with the same touch but keep the finger on the lower part for longer until the control center is reached. By the way, it is also possible to customize the order of the existing controls, from the control center itself at the bottom we get the edit button.
-
See apps in list mode and not nested mode: The Apple Watch App's default menu is displayed in nested mode, that is, all apps that are next to each other and thumbnails to move between them quickly. But if it doesn't confirm this mode you can change it to ready mode to display in alphabetical order. To do this, press hard on the apps menu until an option to change to watch readiness mode (or vice versa) appears.
- Use different categories throughout the day: Not everything we do during the day is the same. For example, our activities tend to be different while we work / learn that while we have free time or sleep. For this reason I like to have several categories that I change throughout the day. For each one I have problems with different apps depending on whether they work (home apps, calendars …), free time (training apps, time …) and sleep (don't have any apps and only need to consult overnight) Try setting up different sectors and switch between them depending on the time of day.
The Apple Watch is a very small tool with an interface that tries to show the minimum to not fill its small screen. For this reason, many of the jobs he brings are hidden and must be discovered. That is why the best thing you can do is mess with him and play as much as possible find out what you can do. Because there are so many other tricks besides the ones shown here.
