Gaming on mobile has gone from something crude and with titles that weren’t up to scratch, to being seen as another way to enjoy the best video games. The power of current mobiles combined with the desire of developers to make good titles and platforms like GeForce Now or Xbox Game Pass They turned these devices into real consoles.
There are great games on Android that we can install, but there are times when we don’t want to download anything and just want to hang out. Well, if you are in this situation, we are going to show you some of the best games you can play on your mobile right in the browser. And all this without installations and without the need for an excellent connection.
Games for mobile browsers that you can enjoy with the touch screen
We will create two categories and the first, obviously, is the most accessible. These early games are played directly with touch controls. Some are highly optimized (some less) and they will give you good entertainment.
vampire survivors
If I don’t start with this… I’m going to explode. Vampire Survivors is the game that has hooked me the most in recent months, both on mobile with Game Pass and on Xbox Series X.
You’ll wonder why so much power in the console so later this game has graphics from 30 years ago. The answer is that it’s a really addictive title. We start with a warrior who has to fight his way through different maps. We just have to worry about moving and dodging enemies, since the attacks are automatic.
As we kill enemies we get coins to buy modifiers and other characters with unique characteristics, but we also progress.
We have upgrades for this warrior’s base weaponpassive boosters and other weapons that we can use simultaneously (and automatically) to keep defeating enemies.
A standard game lasts 30 minutes. and in this version of the browser, you save your progress and play vertically. You can access through this link. And, if you like it, I encourage you to buy it to support its developers and because it’s not the full game, just a demo with one level and seven characters.
Three
three is totally different and when everyone was with Wordle, I was with this one. It is a 4 x 4 board on which appear different cards. The rules are simple: you must make as many as possible by combining these cards.
The tutorial teaches us the basic rules (for example, a “one” card and a “two” card join to form a “three”, but you cannot join two “ones” to form a “two”) and without realizing it we will make sums trying to move without the scene with the objective of not running out of movement.
Like I said, it’s simple, addictive and you can enjoy it at this link.
line runner
It’s a game not as immediate as the previous two, but it’s very funny when you take the pulse. We have to draw shapes on the screen that represent a skating rink.
With your finger we make the drawing, and when it’s ready, click ‘Play’ to launch the sleigh doll. If we did it right, we will enjoy a graceful fall. Otherwise… the doll will be stamped.
Simple as that, but your crumb needs to understand doll physics. If you want to play, you can do it from here.
Google Chrome’s Dinosaur
It’s simpler than the mechanism of a potatobut it brightened up dead moments on the train, the kind where you don’t feel like doing anything (or looking out the window).
It’s Google Chrome T-Rex Gamethe one that appears when it can’t find something or you run out of internet, and basically what it does is move forward on its own while we have to tap the screen to jump and avoid cacti.
As I tell you, extremely simple, but very addictive. You can play Chromedino from this link.
QWOP
This one didn’t know whether to include it or not because, on the one hand, it’s awful, but on the other… it stings. It has a story and everything: you are Qwop, the only Olympic representative of a small nation and it turns out that you are running the 100 meter test.
Now, since the training program has no resources, everything is a disaster. How do you play this? With QW buttons to control the thighs and OP buttons for the calves. Each represents a leg and if you manage to make it more than a meter, I will beg you from now on. You can play from here.
battle guys
We’re done with Battle Dudes. If you didn’t know it, and you like shooters, you’re going to hallucinate with it. You can create a profile, but you really don’t need one and it’s not mandatory to play. Just click “Play” and you’re done.
You are going to find a multiplayer team gamean aerial shooter that has very simple touch controls, is great fun, and has lovely visuals (they look like the drawings we did in fourth grade).
The best thing is that you are actually competing against other players, so skills and reflexes are measured. If you want to try it, you can do so at this link.
And my recommendation: Android browser games for keyboard and mouse
I know it’s not the most comfortable, but let me recommend a few games that require you to be at a desk. You won’t have to install anything at all, but you will need a mouse and a keyboard to make things more comfortable. Although the keyboard is not required in some games.
And that’s it, there are genuine classics that you can enjoy from your mobile browser, but these are PC game releases from a few years ago, so their control scheme hasn’t been changed or what whatever at all.
You will be able to play with a USB-C to USB-A adapter with wired and wireless devices with 2.4Ghz networks, but you can also connect the keyboard and the Bluetooth mouse directly on the phone to enjoy these games.
The advantage? Well, if you don’t have a PC at hand, or directly a PC because not everyone has a computer now that you can do everything with your mobile/tablet, you can enjoy these great games.
We’ll only recommend three, but go for it three…
Potholing
Let’s start with one of the best dungeons released in recent years. Well, it kinda liked it because it came out in 2009 and did it as freeware. Later, in 2012, a reboot was released for already paid consoles.
What you will be able to play in the browser is the original version which is extremely fun and addictive. We are an explorer who has to go caving in a cave full of dangers, platforms and secrets.
I think with this description is useless because here what matters is the gameplay and how we overcome the challenges. To play Spelunky you will need a keyboard, that’s the only big hurdle, but if you have one, you can enjoy the game through this link.
Tsar
It is a classic among classics. If you were a PC gamer 20 years ago, I’m sure Tzar looks familiar to you. You may not have played it, but you have certainly seen it on newsstands because they sold it for 10 dollars, or 20 depending on the version, the good FX.
Haemimont Games scored an absolute great game which you can play perfectly in your mobile browser. You can enjoy it with touch controls because, in the end, the finger emulates a mouse, but I recommend the “hand plus mouse” combo.
With the mouse you select the units and you do everything that is usually done with the mouse, while with the finger of the other hand you zoom on the map and you move around the screen very quickly and easily.
It has the same graphics as the original PC, does not offer campaigns, but does offer PVE modes and he’s a real gamer. You can enjoy Tzar in the browser through this link.
little war game
And we end up with one which is a clone of several games, but which It reminds me a lot of the original Warcraft.. This is a real-time strategy game that has a control scheme very similar to classic Blizzard, but also with a sound that reminds me a lot of the Warcraft that started it all.
You can play against the CPU, you have a map editor, you can play multiplayer games and it stings you beautifully. On PC it’s cooler because you can play horizontally, but playing horizontally on mobile is complicated by the size of the interface.
Yes Fortunately we can very well play with the screen in portrait (who would say). The interface is tiny, but with the size of today’s screens, it looks pretty good. If you are interested, you can play from this link.
And I would be I think it’s a good selection of titles to play from the browser on mobile without having to install anything. If any others come to mind, we invite you to leave them in the comments.
