A VPN is an essential tool for iPad users who want to watch streaming services. Diffusion in other countries, such as Disney+, Netflix or BBC iPlayer.
Additionally, when you browse the Internet with your iPad, your activity in line it is visible to your Internet Service Provider (ISP), government, and potentially others. But since a VPN changes your real IP address to another one and encrypts data going in and out of your iPad, it’s virtually impossible to spy on you.
The new IP address may give the impression that you are in another part of the world. It can be in the same country or on the other side of the world.

Another of our favorite VPNs is ExpressVPN. Like its other apps, the company’s iPad app has a new look, but it works just like before, connecting you to one of its many servers.
ExpressVPN unblocks more video services than its competitors, but that’s only reason to pay the higher monthly prices it charges if you need to watch one or more of those additional services.
It bills itself as the premium option and justifies that in part by the long list of video services it works with, as well as its TrustedServer setup, 24/7 live chat support, and speeds. fast thanks to its owner Lightway.
Besides using it on your iPad, there are also apps for iPhone, Android, Mac, Windows, Fire TV, and more. There’s a limit of five devices at a time, but that should be enough for most people.

CyberGhost is perhaps the best-known VPN, and it’s still a great option in 2021.
It’s really easy to use and one of the cheapest services when you sign up for a few years.
CyberGhost has over 6,700 servers in 88 countries, so you’re sure to find a connection that meets your needs.
The most interesting thing for most people is the fact that it is quite reliable in unblocking streaming services. A flaw on its history, however, was that it didn’t allow us to watch iPlayer from France when we tried it recently.
However, it unblocks Netflix, Disney+, HBOMax, Amazon Prime and others. The iPlayer problem is likely due to the usual game of cat and mouse, where streaming services block certain VPNs, which then turn to other servers to unblock the service.
This is a problem for many VPN services, and CyberGhost can let you watch iPlayer as you read this.
With WireGuard support, CyberGhost offers fast connections, and a subscription lets you use the service on up to seven devices at once.

It’s not the best at unblocking streaming services, although it did let us watch US Netflix and BBC iPlayer when we tried it in June 2021.
Speeds are very good thanks to the use of WireGuard, and the iPad app is easy to use.
