Tweetbot is back. Unofficial Twiter client created by developer Tapbots launched its sixth version on the App Store in phase Early access, with a complete design change and integration with the second version of the Twitter API to provide more service options.
Thanks to this, and as long as Twitter keeps its promises, Tweetbot will be able to offer the same functions as the official client
Twitter’s unofficial clients don’t want to die
There are some advantages to using an unofficial Twitter client, such as not seeing advertisements for the service and being able to choose options like chronology chronological that some of us miss so much. And among all the Twitter clients created by third-party developers, Tweetbot won the most popular position for its clean design and user experience.
Another novelty of Tweetbot 6 is the price. We can use it for free, but if we want to have notifications, manage more than one account or have advanced filters, we will have to subscribe. The price is 0.99 $ per month or 6.49 $ per year, at a reasonable price to guarantee future versions and improvements.
To use it, you’ll need a device with iOS 14 or iPadOS 14, so make sure you have a compatible device. At the moment, there is no news on a future version for macOS, although I have a few doubts: they will be working on it and optimizing it for the M1 chip while you read this.
