That mobile video games are no longer what they were when Nokia dominated the market is more than obvious. We even went beyond casual games as the maximum expression of what could be done on a smartphone, although there are still very popular titles. Companies like HoYover they showed that mobile games can be just as good as the ones we see on consoles. An example of this is its first global hit, Honkai Impact Third, but you might know more about Genshin Impact, a title that revolutionized the mobile scene.
Two new high-level games are coming
HoYoverse, formerly known as MiHoYo, announced two new titles in recent months, and at a recent developer conference showed off the latest trailers for them.
The first is Honkai Star Rail, a role-playing title with turn-based combat that offers top-notch graphics and a space setting reminiscent of Honkai Impact Third. This title is currently in closed beta and could go into beta in a few months.
The second is Zone Zero Zenless, an RPG that could be described as a Genshin Impact with an urban setting. If you like the popular Zelda-inspired title and also the more aggressive aesthetic, you have to give it a try.
At the moment we do not have a release date for any of these titles, and it is very likely that there are still months to go, since these are games that involve very complex development.
