Apple released the fifth version Beta of iOS 15.4 and iPadOS 15.4, as well as tvOS 15.4 and watchOS 8.5. A version that, after the number of changes that we saw in the first version, then in the second and then in the third, should follow the fourth beta and focus, essentially, on improving performance and finishing details that we have already seen it coming.
A cycle of betas full of novelties
As in other years, we are witnessing an alternating rhythm in the arrival of new products. After iOS 15.2 brought us a long list of changes and iOS 15.3 mainly focused on performance improvements and bug fixes, it’s news time again
Recall that iOS 15.4 brings Universal Control, the ability to use Face ID with a mask on our iPhone, new emoji, keychain changes and improvements, Tap to Pay and much more. Some of this news came in the second and third beta, but in the fourth we already saw a change of pace. So this fifth, still room for surprises, should focus on stability and performance.
If we want to enter the beta cycle we can do it following these steps, but we must bear in mind that we are talking about development versions with bugs.
Already in the beta cycle we will find the update in the app Settings as OTA update. During the first few hours, Apple’s servers may receive more requests than usual, so the wait time may be longer.
