The first Xiaomi without MIUI after Android One arrives in Europe and is very cheap

Three years ago, we analyzed the Xiaomi Mi A3 as the latest member of a line that successfully launched the Xiaomi Mi A1 in 2017. Now, three months from the end of 2022, we return to witness a Xiaomi without MIUI.

As a reincarnation of the aforementioned Mi A1, this new Xiaomi device has been dubbed Redmi A1. It was presented a few weeks ago with the 4G and 5G versions of the Redmi 11 Prime, but only in India. Now it arrives in Europe with a very competitive price for the input range.

Its great assets lie in the software and the autonomy

We already indicated it at the beginning and it is that it is a mobile aimed at an audience with little demand or with tight budgets. Its performance doesn’t have to be bad, but neither can you ask for great pride when incorporating a Modesto Mediatek Helio A22 chip with 2 GB RAM. Versions up to 3GB appear on Xiaomi’s website, although we couldn’t find them in stores.

They are 6.52 inch IPS screen makes it a mobile that, without being one of the biggest on the market, is not exactly compact. However, this can be a positive point for multimedia use, since it also has HD+ resolution. This, yes, does not have a fingerprint readerbut neither on the screen nor on a side button.

It cannot boast of having a fast charge because it has a Micro USB port with a maximum power of 10W, but with this capacity it should support a long day of use (and even more) without problem .
