The launch of Android 15 in its final version is very close. And that’s it Google has just released the fourth beta version of this version of the operating systemwhich according to its release schedule is the last beta that will arrive before the final launch of the operating system for manufacturers and, of course, for the Google Pixel.
New Android 15 beta 4 It is now available for download on supported devices and includes some bug fixes and changes for greater system stability. Google, however, warns on its developer blog that users will start using the final version of the operating system soon.

This means that starting with this third beta, developers can test their apps knowing that there will be no radical changes until the final version of Android 15.
Today, Google released Android 15 Beta 4, the second stable version of the platform, and more importantly, the last beta planned in the company’s release schedule. The next version available will be the final version, that is, Android 15 will finally leave beta and reach its final version. Google, in an official statement, recommends to developers:
Please make sure your apps are ready and have provided us with critical feedback before non-beta users start receiving Android 15.
This should happen next August, but if there is a major bug or issue, Google might release a minor update to fix it (i.e. a 4.1 beta).
As for Android 15 Beta 4, this update includes several bug fixes and minor issues in the operating system, including notification failures and Bluetooth connection failures. Here are some of the changes included in the fourth beta of Android 15, according to the release notes:
- Fixed an issue that, in some cases, prevented some Pixel devices from booting if the device was factory reset after installing an OTA system update.
- Fixed an issue that sometimes caused notification settings were not respected of applications when restoring a device from a backup.
- Fixed to prevent Bluetooth pairing requests from being immediately rejected, which could improve pairing success and modification rates.
- Fixed several issues affecting system stabilityincluding connectivity, performance and camera.
The update to Android 15 Beta 4 It is now available via OTA for all compatible devices that have the beta installed. To update, simply go to the settings menu on your Google Pixel, then navigate to “System” and click on “Software Updates” to check for and install the latest version of the operating system.
