Samsung’s work with updates does not stop. Currently the South Korean company has One UI 7 in the oven, its new custom layer based on Android 15 which has already shown some of its details through leaks. However, Its updates are not limited to the operating system of its Galaxybut also include security patches to cover possible vulnerabilities.
Every month Samsung releases one of these new patches. Typically, these always tend to debut on the company’s flagship phones, i.e. the Galaxy S24 in this case, which already have One UI 6.1.1. However, it seems that this month we are going to have a little anomaly, since The new patch appeared on a somewhat unusual device.
November security patch is a reality
In this case, the security patch corresponds to next November. It’s not at all unusual for these to debut the month before, a clear sign that Samsung is usually in a hurry to resolve any security-related issues. Furthermore, these not only fix errors present only in the company’s devices, but also others that correspond to Android.
It was the SamSWUpdate account of the social network X (formerly Twitter) which echoed this new update. As can be seen in the following image, The patch has landed this time on the Galaxy Tab S7 FEa device that arrived on the market in 2021 and is currently running One UI 6.1.
The November security patch, corresponding to the version T735NKOS7DXJ1has a weight of 343 MB. The company still publishes the patch notes on its Samsung Security page, but so far there is only a reference to the patch which corresponds to the month of October.
As is usually the case for this type of patch, its deployment will be done gradually and in waves. To check if we have it available, simply go to the “Settings” menu of our Galaxy, slide until we find the “Settings” section.Software update‘ and click ‘Download and install’.
