This year, the new Samsung foldables will arrive to fix some of its biggest issues or experiences. Just a few days ago we learned how it will treat the exterior screen of the Galaxy Z Flip 5, to be similar to that of the OPPO Find N2 Flip, and now it will eliminate one of its worst disabilities, the existing gap when folded

A substantial improvement on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5
The hinge mechanism is where one of the worst experiences of Samsung’s current foldable phones is. Especially since when they are closed a hole is generated through which all kinds of elements can pass.
Ice Universe announces again on its account the new hinge mechanism completely redesigned by Samsung. It’s a raindrop style hinge for the Galaxy Fold 5, this is not something new either, as other leaks have been directed showing some details.
The raindrop-shaped folding hinge mechanism will allow the folding panel in the Fold 5 to avoid the gap that is created between the two sides of the panel when the mobile is folded.
This mechanism was used by OPPO and Motorola previously for its foldables to hide the crease generated on the screen. A very important point that finally seems to be going to correct the problem of the existing hole in the same Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4 that we have in Europe.
