A little over a year ago, the Google Pixel 5 received the Adaptive sound, a feature that the Google Pixel 6 can now take advantage of.
This characteristic has remained of exclusively on the Pixel 5, although it is disabled by default in the settings of this mobile from the big G ..
Adaptive sound from Pixel 5 to Pixel 6
This feature has been present in the Google Pixel 5 since it received an update in December 2020. The interesting thing about this Pixel 5 is that it has a speaker under the screen so that it vibrates to produce audio.
Logically the generated volume level it does not achieve the same as other smartphones. This is where the adaptive sound used by the device’s microphone comes into play to gauge levels and acoustics to equalize to produce better sound quality.
A feature that works quite well, although it still is depends on its own limits mobile equipment.
Did someone else with a Pixel 6 just get adaptive sound? It appeared in the settings for me this morning.
I thought this feature was meant as a band-aid for the Pixel 5’s crappy speaker, so I didn’t expect the Pixel 6 to get it. pic.twitter.com/QzllOGBy37– Mishaal Rahman (@MishaalRahman)> November 9, 2021
Via Mishaal Rahman’s 9to5Google, it is known that the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, although without the adaptive sound at launch, will receive it. That is, there is already enough Pixel 6 users who find in the mobile menu this option to activate adaptive sound.
And while adaptive sound doesn’t work very well at very high volume levels, it is capable of enrich the different volume tones for a better listening experience.
It will be necessary to see in days if the users of these mobiles share the experience and give the green light to this adaptive sound is coming to the Google Pixel 6 today.
