Huawei is in a bit of a sticky spot in the West due to its break with Google services, but that hasn’t stopped them from continuing offering large equipment for the top of the range with proposals such as the recent Huawei P60 Pro or the foldable Huawei Mate X3.
Both terminals protrude with premium features, with one major absence: the lack of 5G connectivity. Well, today Huawei has formalized the arrival of these two phones in Europe, which will be sold in our territory to all those who continue to trust a company with less presence in this market.
Huawei P60 Pro and Huawei Mate X3 price and availability
As announced by the Asian manufacturer, the two premium terminals will be available on the Spanish market. The Huawei Mate X3 will be released in two colors baptized as Black there Dark green, while the P-series member is available in only one style. Depending on the version we choose, we have a variation in its price, remaining as follows:
An advantage when acquiring one of these terminals is that we will receive one of the best totally free smartwatchesthe Huawei Watch GT3 is a gift.
No 5G, but an uncompromising technical sheet
These two high-end Huaweis share the brain responsible for managing the actions we perform, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 which, without being the latest, will not disappoint in terms of performance. Plus, it comes with good amounts of RAM and storage: We start from 256 GB of internal memory and the 8 GB of RAM in the P60 Pro while in the foldable these amounts are unknown, although they should be higher.
In the field of multimedia, both have high quality OLED panels, 6.67 inches for the P60 Pro and 7.85 inches for the foldable (when opened). We can’t forget the Mate X3’s external display, a 6.4-inch OLED panel with FullHD+ resolution. Stereo sound will come to support the screens to provide an immersive experience when we consume content on streaming platforms.
When it comes to cameras, the clear winner is the Huawei P60 Pro thanks to its versatile telephoto lens and 48-megapixel variable aperture main sensor. Of course, the wide angle seems to be the same in both models, which feature a 13-megapixel sensor. To give it a reasonable autonomy, the P60 Pro and the X3 integrate respective batteries of 4,815 and 4,800 mAh. Huawei doesn’t forget fast charging either: 88W in the conventional model, with 50 watts of wireless charging in both options.
The rest of the sheet looks unchanged, highlighting 4G connectivity (Huawei can’t use Qualcomm’s 5G), WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS and NFC. We cannot forget that the two mobiles are submersible, with IP68 certificate against water and dust.
