Apple’s Weather app is a favorite with many users. While there are other great alternatives out there, this app remains popular with many due to its interface and ease of use. Now, With the beta of iOS 14.7, a long-awaited update has been discovered.
New for the iOS weather app
Apple recently released the first beta of iOS 14.7 in which they were discovered some new details, some aimed at HomePod users who might better handle timers and other features related to syncing between the device and iPhone, iPad, or Mac.
But that’s not all, as some Reddit and Twitter users saw in the iOS 14.7 beta 1. an upcoming update for the Weather app. According to their testimonies, in the beta they found the function of Air quality, which had previously only been seen in some regions, but is now available in places like Canada, the Netherlands, France, Italy and Europe.
Now the Weather app will show a bar on the screen that shows the colors according to the air quality level in the area where the user is located. Moreover, in a simple way, it can also be seen in the main data of the application. This is shown by a user from Canada.

It seems that Apple is trying to improve one of the most important apps for its users, even for new customers. This novelty is a long-awaited and even necessary supplement for some, but despite being already available for some, the date and all regions of availability of this feature are not yet known.
Apple may consider continuing to test and implement this function bit by bit until iOS 15, the next update whose first characteristics are already known.
