Mark Gurman teases big changes to the iPad Pro lineup.
The iPad is the best tablet in the world for a reason. Apple tablets dominated the industry’s sales in 2022, once again becoming the most popular tablets on the market. and the model line iPad Pro It is the most advanced of the whole range.
As Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman recently reported, Apple plans to introduce “a great update” to their iPad Pro next year. Many changes have been circulating that will make the new iPad Pro of 2024 completely revolutionize the market.
The truth is that after the great redesign that the iPad Pro suffered in 2018, the Apple company no longer offered a major update to the product. A tweak here, a tweak there, a new feature, slightly more advanced hardware…but we never saw any major changes. In fact, some of the newer generations of iPad Pro have been disappointing. Fortunately, that could change in 2024, according to Mark Gurman.
The iPad Pro is reserved for a big revolution in 2024
The latest information from Gurman suggests that Apple won’t introduce any big news to its iPad family this year. There are very few iPad models subject to an update in 2023 due to the lack of technological innovation in the market. We won’t see big changes on the iPad, or the iPad mini, or the iPad Air, or the iPad Pro.
But in 2024, things will change. Apple is planning a big revolution for the spring of next year with the implementation of OLED screens on their iPad Pro and other design changes.
“I don’t see big changes in 2023 for the most popular models, the iPad mini or the Air. The iPad Pro won’t get anything notable this year either. Instead, get ready for a big iPad Pro update next spring, complete with an updated design and OLED displays for the first time.”
Some of the iPad rumors suggest that Apple tablets could include a glass panel on its back that would replace aluminum and a wireless charging system MagSafe similar in the present currently in the latest generation models of iPhone. With that and the arrival of OLED technology on the iPad, we’ve already served up the excitement.
