An in-depth price analysis of the iPhone 13 range gives us historical data on its devaluation

According to an in-depth survey by SellCell, the iPhone 13 range has the better retention of its value Apple smartphone history based on data from 45 used product sellers.
Usually during these two months they were only devalued by 25% from its original value. If we compare it to other previous models like the iPhone 11 range, which has been devalued by 45%, or the iPhone 12 range, which has been devalued by 41%, we are talking about half of the devaluation.
They even say that some iPhone 13 models they have recovered their value a little after a slight initial drop. If we take the top of the range, the iPhone 13 Pro Max with 1TB of storage, has recovered 1.4% of the value since the first drop.
What factors is this due to?
According to the survey, there is different factors which could have affected these devaluations such as the shortage of components in the world, production cuts added to the delay in shipments or even increased confidence in second-hand stores.
From what it seems, this is a one-off thing and the prices they could go down in the following months. They are even already saying that the iPhone 14 would not have this devaluation if everything went well in global markets.
Anyway, if you are looking for a new used iPhone in good condition always you have to look at two or three options different and you can surely find one that matches the price you had in mind.
