The latest Haitong International Securities report signed by analyst Jeff Pu, and which the guys at MacRumors had access to, Pu claims that the two models that are part of the Pro lineup will feature a triple rear camera system, as until present, but the wide angle lens will have a resolution of 48 MP.
The rest of the lentils, ultra wide angle and telephoto will still have a resolution of 12 MP. This information confirms the one published a few weeks ago by Ming-Kuo, which also specified that thanks to this new 48 MP lens, the iPhone 14 Pro will be able to record videos in 8k resolution.
But, in addition, Pu also claims in the Pro range, it will be managed with 8 GB of RAM memory, 2 GB more than currently the iPhone 13 Pro range. The possibility of the main sensor reaching a resolution of 48 MP, and the amount of RAM memory being increased, are plausible options.
However, in the same report, also claims the entire iPhone 14 lineup will have a 120Hz displayThis is highly unlikely given that Ross Young, an analyst for the movable panel industry, has stated that the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max will continue to have a 60Hz display.
Apple plans to launch 4 iPhone 14 models, abandon the mini model and replacement by a new model with the larger screen:
- 6.1 inch iPhone 14
- 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max
- 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro
- 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max
When two different analysts claim the same thing, as is the case with the 48 MP camera module, most likely it will finally be accomplished, provided the supply issues normalize by mid-year, when Apple begins production of the new iPhone lineup for that year.
