After the new operating system of our iPhones, iOS 16, included the option to show battery percentage in status bar of the most current iPhone, the news in this area continues. And they continue with an interesting surprise, as the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max could bring back the traditional percentage in the menu bar.
More space allows more information to be displayed
When we saw the implementation of battery percentage in current iPhones, something that will officially arrive with iOS 16 in a few days, There was quite an interesting discussion. While some were happy to be able to see this information without having to go to Control Center, others didn’t quite see the design that Apple was proposing.
Now, with the notch width shrinking on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, MacRumors sources claim we’ll see the traditional battery performance percentage. With this configuration, you can see both the numerical value of the charge and a visual status indicator that summarizes the situation in a more or less full battery.
A change that arouses a lot of interest. It is true that many prefer not to see the battery level drop as the iPhone is used and value a more abstract representation of its level; but many others enjoy the exact opposite and also have their reasons for it.
now during we are awaiting official confirmation of this changeIt remains to be seen whether the new iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max will offer the option to choose the design we prefer. Fortunately, the wait will be short, because this Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. (peninsular Europe time) we will dispel all doubts.
