Power efficiency and processor performance will increase the demand for iPhone 15 Pro.
According to the latest rumors on iPhone 15, Apple already has enough A17 Bionic processors to start mass production of its next generation of smartphones. The manufacturing of the chips was done by TSMC using a 3 nanometer process which will provide the processor with great power and energy efficiency.
From DigiTimes, they recently revealed that the A17 Bionic processors in the iPhone 15 Pro will dramatically increase the demand for the devices and hence their sales figures.
iPhone 15 Pro sales will be very high
TSMC began mass production of iPhone 15 A17 Bionic chips in late 2022. To date, chip supply has met Apple’s shipment order. In the absence of certain hardware components, the iPhone 15 lineup remains on hold for enter the manufacturing phase.
“TSMC’s N3E (3-nanometer process) technology will enable a significant upgrade in specifications in the next series of iPhones, sources say. iPhone supply chain vendors predict replacement demand for 2023 models.”
What they mean from DigiTimes is that the demand for the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro range will be very high. But especially for users who already have an iPhone from previous generations.
The 3-nanometer process by which the A17 Bionic chips in the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max were made will deliver 35% more energy efficiency than the A16 Bionic processor (4 nanometers) from the iPhone 14 line. Although it is rumored that the iPhone 15 Pro models will have a more advanced version of the chip. This will help improve the battery life of the devices, as well as keep the operating system running smoothly.
