In your WhatsApp statuses you can post texts, photos and even voice notes. If they are videos, its maximum duration so far was 30 secondsbut now the app increases this limit to exactly double.
If half a minute was too short for you to say what you wanted to say in a WhatsApp status, you will soon be able to post one minute stateswithout having to cut them into several.
States that last twice as long
To post video statuses on WhatsApp, you have two options: either you save them directly from WhatsApp, or you use a video that you already have on your mobile. In both cases, the State could have Maximum duration of 30 seconds.
Now, as WABetaInfo reports, the app is doubling the maximum duration, allowing some users to post statuses of up to 60 seconds.
This means that we will be able to record one-minute videos directly from WhatsApp to publish them as statuses, as well as cut out one-minute fragments of videos that we have already saved on our mobile before we can publish them as status.
The change will allow us to publish longer videos without having to cut them into several pieces and compares the duration with those of other applications. On Instagram and Messenger, the maximum duration of a status is also 60 seconds.
Change Doesn’t seem to be available to everyone yet, but is currently rolling out to a limited number of beta users. Hopefully this will become official for everyone later.
