‘Monarch: Legacy of Monsters’ will have a second season on Apple TV+ and more Godzilla series are coming
Good news for series fans and movie buffs in general, Apple has renewed the series “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters” for a new season on Apple TV+. He spin off Godzilla was announced in August 2023 and now, a year later, it has been renewed for a second season.
Details about the plot or release date of the second season are unknown, but the next edition of the series from co-creators Chris Black and Matt Fraction will come with some very interesting news.
Apparently, Apple has signed a deal with Legendary – owner of the rights to the Monsterverse from “Godzilla and the Titans” – for the creation of several series which will accompany the long-awaited arrival of “Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire”, released in theaters on March 27.

The great success of the most monstrous series on Apple TV+ led Apple to renew it for an additional season. “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters” was created by Chris Black, writer of the thriller series “Separation” and “Star Trek,” along with Matt Fraction, a popular Marvel comic book writer.
He spin off “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters” is Set in a time period after the epic battle between Godzilla and the Titans and tells the adventures of a family who will try to discover the secrets and heritage of monsters. Its cast includes, among others, Anna Sawai, Wyatt Russell, Kurt Russell, Mari Yamamoto, Anders Holm, Joe Tippet, Elisa Lasowski and Christopher Heyerdahl.

News of the renewal of “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters” came shortly after Apple shared the first official trailer for “Dark Matter,” a new thriller series for Apple TV+ from a physicist immersed in the discovery of other parallel lives in a labyrinth of alternative realities from which he will have to escape.
Apple also recently revealed the first trailer for “Fly Me To The Moon”, an interesting film comedy about NASA and the Apollo 11 mission with Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum who, never said better, is aiming very high in the film industry. Excellent news for Apple TV+, which is gaining more followers every day in its fierce fight to become the best streaming platform of the moment.
